It’s Panda, Miss Dementia If You’re Nasty

I’m answering last week’s TMI questions since I didn’t have any interesting answers for this week’s questions. So, here goes!

1. What are your thoughts on Polyamorous Relationships? With the majority of the poly relationships that I have observed, there seems to be SO much drama. The partners in the relationships seem to be miserable more often than not. I tried dating a girl that was in a “poly relationship” and it failed miserably because of the insecurities and jealousies of her boyfriend.  I think, however, that if people can follow the true meaning of being polyamorous and can keep insecurities and jealousies out of it, being poly can work. Just not a lot of humans can do that.

That being said, I don’t think I could ever share mine or my partner’s heart with someone else. Our bodies, yes, but not our hearts. I can be in an open relationship, but not a poly one.

2. What is on your list of relationship “deal breakers”? Lying or hiding things, treating me or my children poorly or with disrespect, being abusive… I think that’s about it. Everything else I can forgive if they don’t happen continuously.

3. How long did it take you you to find the type “you are into” and/or accept it? I seriously do not have a “type.” I have dated everyone from the star of the high school basketball team to the beefed-up Marine, the neurotic chick in a poly relationship to the computer programmer geek. I guess the majority of the people I’ve dated have been geeky, but I’m attracted to a wide gambit of looks and personalities.

4. What is your view on full disclosure about past relationships? (Lies of omission not lies of commission) If my partner wants to know, I have no problem spilling everything. The way I see it, our past relationships have helped make us into the people we are today and there’s nothing to hide or be ashamed of there. I don’t think anyone should just spill their past relationships without being asked about them, though, because some people just don’t want to know.

5. Have you ever been in a situation where you were not comfortable complying with the adventurous request of a lover? Hmm… nope, can’t say there has been. I’m willing to try almost anything once and none of my lovers have ever asked for one of the rare things I wasn’t willing to try!

After moving to this new city, Dominique spent every night for 3 weeks driving through the streets, stopping to walk down alleyways, searching for the symbol on a doorway. The symbol and what it represented had been a huge part of her life for years now, and she wasn’t sure how long she could last without it. Dom quickly pulled down the next side street and parked, then stepped out of her car, pulling her long coat tightly around her. She hurried to the backside of the abandoned building where she found the same symbol on the back door. She did THE knock and waited. A minute later, she heard a faint knock back and she knew she had finally found it.

She stripped off her long coat, revealing to the unseen watching eyes that she belonged there. The door swung open and the thick smells of incense and sex poured out and drew her naked form, with the symbol etched into her flesh, through it. Dom was finally home.

1) What are three mistakes someone could make on the first date with you that would automatically make you turn down a second date with them?   1) Making bigoted comments, whether it’s towards race, gender, sexual orientation, etc or being generally disrespectful toward anyone we encounter. I have respect for ALL people and will not tolerate disrespect.  2) Be too serious. If you don’t have a sense of humor, if you can’t make me laugh, I don’t want you. I need laughter (and lots of it) in my life.  3) Brag, boast, name-drop or be a douche. Yes, I want to hear about your accomplishments but there’s a fine line between being proud of what you’ve done and being full of yourself. I have NO patience for the latter.

2) Pick an animal that best displays your personality. Why, a panda, of course! I’m sweet, cute and cuddly, but threaten me or my family and I will tear you limb from limb.

3) If your so stopped having sex with you, how long would you stay? I’m a sex blogger and I LOVE sex, but it would really depend on WHY he stopped having sex with me. If it was because of a medical condition, obviously I’d wait it out patiently (and I’d make sure I’d have fresh batteries on hand at all times, of course). If he just lost interest in sex, though, we’d have a serious problem.
